Keala Kennelly will be DJing this Friday night, January 27th, at Surfer the Bar on the North Shore. Dance to DJ KK’s beats and join fellow surf legends Kalani Chapman and Sunny Garcia  as they judge  the Slim & Sassy Contest. The night is sponsored by dōTERRA Essential Oils, there will be a Hula Show,  and raffles from The North Shore Wellness Retreat, Noelani Designs, and other local companies.  

Keala’s positive attitude throughout her injury and recovery was a big inspiration to the staff at Surfgirl Magazine as they put together their winter issue.  In the issue Keala  talks about the accident at Teahupoo, how well she’s healing up and her commitment to get back out in Big Waves which we saw recently with photos of her charging Waimae and Pipe.
